History and Presentation: 

The Azienda Agricola Caciorgna Pietro is located in the Municipality of Casole d 'Elsa, in the province of Siena; an enchanting territory located in the heart of Tuscany.

In 2006, the company purchased sapling-trained vineyards at the threshold of one hundred years. They are located in the Contrada Marchesa, in Passo Cannone, near Passopisciaro (Sicily).
Shortly after the company buys another vineyard located in the Contrada called "Bocca d'Orzo or Piano d'Aria" (Randazzo), to which recently, a jewel of a vineyard has been added, more than one hectare, in the Contrada di Santo Spirito (Castiglione di Sicilia).

pietro caciorgna winery etna The vinification is done in the small cellar of Rovittello, also in the Municipality of Castiglione di Sicilia. The first wine produced was N * Anticchia, which in Sicilian means "a little". The cultivation of the vineyards is located between 700 and 800 meters and is entrusted to experts in the area. The earth is rich in sand and many mineral salts which gives the grapes aromatic finesse, silky and velvety tannins. The result is a wine which, aged in small oak barrels, expresses itself with great aromatic finesse, good body, complexity and drinkability.
